A couple of random things I've learned so far:
1. I HATE the hiccups! It seems that every time I get little Briggs fed and burped and almost asleep, out creeps a little "hic". That little "hic" eventually becomes uncontrolable hiccups which eventually cause him to get irritated (can't blame the poor guy), wake up, and sometimes even lose his dinner. The hiccups eventually undo everything we had just accomplished :)
2. I'm pretty sure that Heavenly Father decided to make little Briggs seem so completely adorable to me at 2 in the morning for good reason. Not that I don't always think he's cute, but for some reason at those middle of the night feedings he's always seems irresistably cute! Seems to make the task at hand much easier :)
3. Blair is probably the cutest daddy ever. He seriously could just stare at Briggs all day, and I could seriously just stare at Blair staring at Briggs all day :) Watching Blair loving on Briggs makes my heart so happy!
4. I love the moments when Briggs just stares into my eyes and listens to my voice, and I know that he knows me! There is a definite bond that I'm discovering more and more every day that connects he and I, and I LOVE that!
5. Being a mom is the hardest thing I've ever done in my life (and I'm just getting started) but I would never have it any other way!
Anyway...enough about what I've learned, here are some pictures.
P.S. I've started to notice that they almost all seem to be of him sleeping, but I realized that is the case for a couple of good reasons. A) He sleeps a lot B) When he's not sleeping I'm usually feeding or holding him C) He's really adorable when he sleeps
I'm "hooked" on him (ha ha...corny I know)

Oh my goodness I wish I could hold that little dude, seriously he is so cute I don't know how you could ever be stressed with a baby that cute! Just kidding but seriously wow, your genes combined nicely for that little dude. It was fun talking to you the other day. Miss you, talk to you soon.

What an adorable bundle of joy. I so can't wait to meet my little one! I'd love to see him sometime. I haven't gotten out of the house much (trying to take it easy and rest) but I would love to see him sometime.

Congrats on your little one! Where did all that dark hair come from? That's what I wanna know ha. He's so cute. I want you to know that I talk with your sister-in-law every sunday in the Women's Lounge at church. It's our weekly gathering haha. (The one with the new baby, I can't even remember her name though :( Anyway, I just wanted to say Congrats to you! Isn't it so fun being a mother. It's devine...even when you have to do the Zombie walk at 3:00 a.m.

Briggs is absolutely beautiful. What a handsome boy! I can't believe he has all that dark hair! Glad to hear things are well for your little family.
He's the CUTEST thing EVER!! Gripe Water (found at Health Food stores) will work WONDERS on hiccups and any colic. It was a miracle for both my boys. (We like Baby Bliss brand). Good luck!!
