Tree Trimin'

This is how Blair and I felt about decorating the tree this year...

( I'm suppose to look excited if you can't tell) and I think Blair's feelings are quite obvious!

Okay, so mostly that picture of Blair is a result of him refusing to cooperate when I try and take a picture (guess he learned his lesson).

But really...we actually did have a really lovely evening as we decorated for Christmas this year. Briggs was bouncing in his jumper excitedly as he watched mom and dad hang shiny things on a big green thing with lights...although I know he had no idea what we were doing, he seemed to sense the fun in what was happening!

P.S. Although I was pleased with the tree and the way it looked that night...about 3 nights later it was dead...seriously...dead!! I can't bring myself to take it down yet, but I'm not turning on the lights for fear of fire. I'm probably going to have to cave and take it down soon. It's going to be needle-less before long and it's getting uglier by the minute :(
