After skating we all went into the nearby batting cages and most everyone took a shot at it. Blair grew up skating on the frozen river by his house and is therefore a natural at ice skating; however, there's no baseball in Wyoming schools, so that sport was a little tougher for him. He did however decide he could handle the "fast" speed on the machine, and I think was amazed at the actual velocity of the ball!!! All kidding aside, considering his lack of experience, he looked quite natural! It was a lot of fun, we even got my dad in the cages. I must admit that he was pretty dang good. His hand eye coordination was amazing and he connected almost every time. I think it was a bit humbling for his younger sons and sons-in-law as they struggled! I decided I probably should've listened closer to his advice through all my years of softball :)
Anyway, I plan to post some fun pictures from our Christmas break soon (and if I commit to that on my blog than I have to do it ) Anyway, sorry for the inactivity. . . life's been a little crazy!

I was so sad that I missed everyone this Christmas. I am so glad that you had a wonderful holiday season. Love you guys, you too Blair, even though I've never met you. Once you married Cami, the love just gets spread out, you lucky-duck! (:
YOU GUYS LOOK SO GREAT IN THIS PIC!! Miss you lots and I love ya!
You two photograph very well! I love to see your pictures. I'm glad you had such a good time in Washington. I'm actually planning an "Idaho run" in a few weeks if the roads are good. I hope the Christmas presents for the grandkids don't turn into Valentine presents. Committing on the blog is serious, I know what you mean.
Love, Mom
How fun! I must admit that we don't miss all the rexburg snow! It looks cold there! Hope Blair is enjoying his student teaching!
Cami, Oh my its been forever! How are you doing? looks like married life is treating you good!!! Where are you guys living? so good to hear from you!
Cami and Blair I found you!!!! Cute pictures and so fun to catch up on the fun you are having. I can see we missed out on the skating. I just could see Steve on ice with a tender back but it sure looked like the company would have been fun!! Love you Sue
