Tender Mercies

A couple experiences in the last few days have helped Blair and I to see the Lord's hand in our lives.

First off, for those of you who may not have known....I LOST MY WEDDING RING back in December. I have been sick about it ever since and could not figure out where it was for the life of me. I prayed about it a lot, and nothing ever showed up. I got a super cheap band to replace it temporarily, but deep down I just knew it was going to randomly show up someday....

On Friday, Blair went to the temple and Briggs and I headed to Royal City to spend the day with my family. That evening when I got home and went in to bed, Blair had written me a funny little letter and had an envelope sitting behind it on my pillow. I read the letter, opened the envelope, and couldn't believe my eyes. There was my ring!! (I know I'm getting carried away with the exclamation marks, but I'm really THAT excited!!!!!!!!!) When Blair went to the temple, it fell out of his temple clothes onto the floor. I honestly cannot figure out how it got there.....I have no idea...?

The Lord was waiting to answer my prayers, but couldn't because we hadn't been to the temple in a while. Since Briggs was born, it's taken us a while to get back. Sooooooo....my prayers have definitely been answered and I am SOOO grateful!


We also felt the love of the Lord today as we watched this video. It hit pretty close to home for Blair and I. As we struggle to find our path in life, and wonder if our vehicles could possibly take us another mile :) (literally), we definitely needed to hear the message of hope in this video.



It's experiences like these that give me faith to know that the Lord is in the details of our lives. He knows our wants and needs and will never leave us to wander through life alone. As long as we will let him, he will be right by our side through thick and thin!
