Spring Break in Wyoming

For Blair's Spring Break we decided (kinda last minute) to take a trip to Wyoming.  It was a lot of fun and we were so glad to let Briggs get to know his grandparents and family that's far away better.  I was pretty apprehensive about the nearly 12 hour drive with Briggs...however, we started our drive at about 2:30 in the afternoon and drove into the night and later decided that was the best idea we've had in a long time.  Briggs was really good and pretty patient for the first half of the drive, and slept through the second half (the only trick was making sure we didn't do the same).

Briggs loved hanging out with his grandma and grandpa.  Briggs is a pretty friendly little guy and they were fast friends!  He was talking (or should I say jabbering) their ears off the whole time we were there!!

Jim and Becky were great hosts and we enjoyed spending the weekend with them watching conference and just hanging out!

Briggs got some adorable little carhart pants and a shirt from his grandma and grandpa!  He's pretty cute in them for sure, and I think Blair would wear them if he could :)  Thanks so much Jim and Becky!

We also enjoyed visiting with Blair's grandma Blanche where Briggs had a blast digging through her toy box!

We then went to Blair's sister Jana's house in Idaho.  There we were also able to meet up with his brothers Dave and Matt and their families, minus Nikki who had to work (we also missed Julie and Brandon and their families who live too far away to catch in our little trip....till next time I guess).  Jana and Jared were so kind to put us up, feed us, and be such great hosts in the middle of the week when they were so busy with their own lives!!  It was a good time catching up and Briggs got to hang out with some of his cousins.

Here is our attempt at trying to get some of them to sit still for a photo.  A difficult task as you can see.  I think my favorite part of this photo is Jack (far right) just watching all the action :)

Who knew getting the adults to sit still would be an equally challenging task ?!?  :)

We are so glad we decided at the last minute to go!  Although the drive is long (and heading home started out in snow?!?!?), the memories last forever!

It is funny that you are wearing turtle necks and sweaters and long pants...it is 87 today. I forget that other people are still having winter.
It looks like you guys had a good time. There is nothing like family.
