a little "punk"

This little cutee?!? Of course not...even though he definitely has his moments :)

Briggs got a little gift at nursery on Sunday which he refers to as his little "punk." At first I tried to correct him, but then I decided it was pretty cute and I preferred it his way :)

Another cute thing to note about Briggs these days....

For a while I couldn't get him to go and play outside during the day unless I was going out with him.  However, ever since we got a new cat Briggs loves to play outside again.  I use to be super worried about him touching the cat too much (you never know what diseases that cat has...you know?) but now I've just accepted the fact that Briggs has found a pal and LOVES playing outside with him (and then I wash his hands vigorously when he comes inside).  He spends about half of the time giggling at the cat and the other half torturing it (you know, dragging it around by it's tail...fun stuff like that).  His intentions are good and he thinks it's so fun, but I'm pretty sure the poor cat has mixed emotions about Briggs as a playmate :)

Also...Briggs can't go out the door to play without his "hat".  He's become quite attached!

I'm not looking forward to when the weather keeps him from being able to play outside.  He loves to be outside, and it keeps us both sane :)

And last and definitely least (only because I tend to hide from the camera these days)....a little proof that there really is a little baby boy growing inside of me :)  Blair and I went to a friend's halloween party a few weeks ago, and if you can't tell I was the soccer ball, and Blair was the soccer player...clever right?!? Actually, it was a last minute throw together because I procrastinated and needed something quick...it did the job :)

Pregnancy has been pretty smooth sailing since I got past the first tri-mester yuckiness and a scare over a double vessel cord.  Around 20 weeks, they saw in the ultrasound that I had a double vessel umbilical cord (rather than three vessels like the average person).  Sometimes a double vessel cord is accompanied by other defects and/or problems, but after some extensive ultrasounds, our little guy seems to be doing great and doesn't seem to have any issues (which is typically the case with a double vessel cord, but just knowing there was a chance for problems was definitley a scary thing for us!!)  Other than more frequent ultrasounds and checking the growth curves more closely, it seems things will continue completely normally!

I can't believe how fast pregnancy is flying by this time around!  We're going to have another baby boy bundle before we know it!!

Which reminds me...I've got a lot to do :)

Cam that is a very clever idea! Hey have you changed your phone number?? The last couple of times I have tried to call you it says that this caller is unavailable??!! Its not a normal message either. I just wondered. Let me know if anything has changed.
