it's really going to happen
So I had a reality check moment at Costco the other day. My mom and I were shopping around and I was looking through the kids clothes. I was flipping past all of the smaller sizes looking for something for Briggs for fall when it dawned on me.....I am going to have a newborn before long, and I can look at the newborn sizes again (although we are mostly set with Briggs' old stuff!!!!!). I forget how tiny (well, it's all relative, tiny with our genes is different that tiny for others) this new little guy is really going to be.
Obviously I realize this pregnancy is for real, but it was just one of those moments where it really sank in for a minute. I think because I've been staying so busy with Briggs, I haven't had the chance to really internalize this pregnancy in the same way I did when I was pregnant with Briggs. Moments like these get me really excited.
And, by the way...we bought both sizes:)
P.S. Speaking of moments that get me excited....there are also moments that make me have mini nervous breakdowns :) One such moment was during an ultrasound when the technician asked....."so who has the big head in the family?" She could already tell that this little guy is going to have a good sized noggin...I guess I could have figured as much considering his genes on both sides! DEEP BREATHS!!!

How exciting. I love getting ready for a new baby!
Haha that is great that it is starting to sink in for you :) my baby is 5 months old and I still feel like it hasn't sunk in. Haha really the last month of my pregnancy I still couldn't believe it was happening... I guess since it all happened so fast to me it never felt real. :) I am so excited for you guys. Boys are so fun... Well good luck with everything haha I think we are on opposite spectrums when it comes to sizes of babies ;) hahaha
