Today is Blair and I's anniversary.....4 whole years and I can hardly believe it! I wanted to take a minute and let Blair know how grateful I am for the amazing man, husband, and father that he is.
The semester before I met Blair, I was reading in Moroni 7 and read the verses about charity that I had always loved, but they struck me differently that time. As I read verses 45-47 I realized that first of all, I wanted to be able to put my own name in place of "charity" in those verses and have it ring true, but I think what hit me even harder at that time, was that I wanted to find a man who I felt embodied the characteristics in these verses.
When I was dating Blair and we were deciding whether or not we were going to get married, I remembered my feelings about those verses and went back to read them with him in mind. I have to say....I felt then and know now, that Blair truly does embody these characteristics.
I have made a few changes (in the brackets) to illustrate my point:
45 And [Blair] suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not [his] own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
46 Wherefore, my beloved [Cami], if ye have not [Blair], ye are nothing, for [Blair] never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto [Blair], [who] is the greatest of all, for all things must fail—
47 But [Blair has] the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of [him] at the last day, it shall be well with [her].
I have to admit that even reading through this, I tear up realizing how true it really is in my eyes. I count Blair as one of the greatest blessings in my life and he makes me want to be better each and every day.
I love you Blair and because of you, I truly consider myself to be one lucky lady!

Happy Anniversary!!! Those are very cute family pics!!!
Cami, Thanks for appreciating the good man Blair is. Even if I weren't his mother, I would still say, "There goes a man with no guile." We're thankful you found each other, and the blessing you are to our family. Becky
