Boy oh Boy!

That's right...you guessed it!  Briggs is going to have a little BROTHER!!

We're really excited for Briggs to have a little buddy.  I picture them being great friends through the years!!

And since we didn't really get any great ultrasound pics to share (they were all pretty blurry) and it's been a long time since I've given a Briggs update...here are some pics of our current baby boy (who won't seem like such a baby come December).

Pictured here is Briggs comfort combo : binky and burp cloth.  This combo is mostly only used for nap and bed time (although I will admit that sometimes if we need some peace in the car or if I want some snuggle time with Briggs....they will come out from hiding).  I should also note that one of these things isn't enough without the other....BOTH must be present for optimal comfort. Also cute is how he holds the burp cloth...with one arm raised pressing it between his face and shoulder.

I always had a burp cloth handy when I was feeding Briggs his bottle as a baby and obviously having one up against his face is comforting to him.  I must admit that it's rather ideal because I have like 20 of them and can switch them out to be washed often.  I'd say that beats a stuffed animal that can't really be washed and when lost becomes a source of panic.

This is evidence that Briggs will most likely have his daddy's curse.  He was having a hard time keeping his pants up this day and I'm beginning to see a trend : not much on the hind end to hold them up :)  Briggs will probably one day find a belt to be his best friend, as Blair so fondly refers to his.

And finally, a little evidence of Briggs favorite game!!  It's the take-something-from-where-it-belongs-and-hide-it-somewhere-it-definitely-doesn't-belong-game.  It's a really fun one that we seem to play often :)

Check out some more updates below if you're interested :)

Wow I'm so happy for you guys! I enjoyed having another boy because they were going to be so close in age.

Congrats on another boy! I'm sure he will be just as handsome as your first! We play the hiding game in this house too, luckily they are old enough to remember where they hid it when I am at a last resort trying to find whatever it is.

I'm grateful for my Eyre rear. Better too little than too much. You can always get a belt or suspenders.
