Eyre Reunion

The first part of August we took the trek to Wyoming for a reunion with Blair's siblings.  It was a really good time and we enjoyed catching up with everyone there!

The first day we went to a temple session in Logan with some of Blair's family while some hung out at a nearby park watching kids (including ours....THANKS to all who babysat!).  Logan is such a pretty town and the temple is beautiful.

One of the main events the reunion was centered around was helping Jim (Blair's dad) get an alleyway built in his corral.  So the second day the men-folk spent most of the day working out in the corral while the ladies took care of kids and food.  It was a nice day for us to catch up with each other, and I think Jim really appreciated having some good "hands" (as they would say) helping him out with a pretty big job!

Briggs loved hanging out down at the corral.  Briggs wanted to go down there to visit dad often because Briggs would live outside if he could.  He loved being a part of the action, but wasn't exactly a big help to the process...so we tried to keep our visits short.

Blair is holding Briggs and his cousin Porter (who is just a few months older than him) in the picture.  This picture makes me laugh because Briggs is getting such a kick out of "tickling" Porter and Porter seems to be mostly tolerating the situation :)

After a long day working outside, some of the family had a family jam of sorts.  It was fun to hear them playing and singing together (although they were never able to get very far without lots of "little" interuptions....i.e. Briggs "helping" his daddy on the left).  They are a pretty talented bunch and I really enjoyed listening to them.

Blair is definitely a fun uncle.  All of our neices and nephews love Blair and these pictures illustrate one of the many reasons why.  He loves getting into wrestling matches with them all and as you can tell from the pictures....they love it too.

It was definitely a good week in Wyoming and we're grateful that we were able to go.  It's great catching up and letting Briggs get to know his cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents.
