Sheridan, Wyoming

The Eyre Family Reunion this year was in Sheridan Wyoming. It was planned by Blair's sister Julie and was centered around the bluegrass festival in Buffalo (near Sheridan). It was a super fun weekend filled with family, music, food, and fun (great combo...right?!).

A little taste of how beautiful Sheridan is (and Blair's adds to the beauty of course)! I think Sheridan is just about the perfect mix of rolling grassy hills and mountains! There aren't so many trees that you can't see the beauty of the surroundings...you know?

Probably on the top ten of my favorite pics of my little man! He sported the sun hat a fair amount that weekend.

Here's a look at the bluegrass festival. We started out with killer seats up in the front, but due to a rainy day and little babies...we eventually opted to move back quite a ways to be under the pavillion (I was super glad we did)! The festival was really fun. If you would have asked me if I would have been excited about a bluegrass festival about 3 and a half years ago (before Blair) I might have laughed. However, I have had a lot of exposure to it over the last few years, and I have actually really learned to appreciate it and even added it to my list of preferred styles of music!

Blair's sister Jana has a little embroidery business and she made us all matching shirts that sported the Jim Eyre Brand. We all wore them to the festival and we were definitely the talk of the place. Nobody could believe how many of us there were. We were a sea of orange!!

Briggs was a pretty good sport all weekend long! It was his first experience with camping, and it went surprisingly well!

I think Briggs is so cute in his little carrier. Blair and Briggs were both cooperating quite well for this picture....don't you think?

Here's the crew right before we all headed our separate ways. There were about 5 people gone (who were missed) but we had a great weekend and made some wonderful memories!

The photograper (whomever she was) did a great job with this family picture. Thanks for all of these posts Cami. They're great! Sun River looked fabulous!
